Integrated dual diagnosis treatment services make a significant difference in the effectivensss of a drug rehab program. Although the individual might have checked into the drug rehab program for treatment of their drug addiction, to not treat the psychiatric problem is not practicing good addiction medicine. When providing high quality dual diagnosis treatment, you have to review and treat many different aspects of a person’s illness.

While we know that medication management, therapy and medical care are important, issues such as; housing, employment, finances, social networking or educational services are also important.
